WetnWild Megalast Lipsticks | Swatches & Review

Wetnwild megalast lipsticks are really a gem at the drugstore. Wetnwild is a US brand  based in California and they offer affordable, cruelty free makeup. They launched in the UAE a year ago and I have been loving their stuff. With this brand, you don’t have to break your bank to get some quality makeup.

My favourite among their collection is the Megalast lipsticks and also their eyeshadows. If you are new to makeup or lipsticks in general, Try these as they are really good for the price you pay.

Today I want to share with you my thoughts about their megalast lipsticks. I own 9 shades, ranging from nude to dark.  So grab a cup of coffee and let’s continue.

As per the Brand:  These lipsticks are made with hydrating skin-care ingredients: Hyaluronic Microspheres provide extraordinary adhesion to lips, an exclusive polymer complex offers cushion-like feel and texture, and natural marine plant extracts coenzyme Q10 and vitamins A & E help smooth lips and lasts for up to 4 hours.

Finish

I wouldn’t say they are completely matte, more like a satin finish. If you are looking for another finish, you would not find one here. I personally like the satin finish as it a little bit more forgiving than a complete matte. Don’t forget to wear a lip balm underneath to get a smooth application.

Application

These lipsticks don’t glide on as smoothly on my lips if I don’t wear a lip balm first. So let me tell you again ‘wear a LIP BALM’.

Longevity

These last for 4 – 5 hours depending on how much you  eat and drink in between. Most drugstore lipsticks tends to fade away within a very short period of time, but this bad boy has a pretty decent lasting power. Oh Boy! I am impressed. But most of the medium to dark colour will stain your lips. So please don’t end up peeling the skin off your lips while taking it off. Use a good makeup remover.

Packaging

I love myself a good packaging, and this one fails at that. And you can’t complain because you get good product for the less price you pay, and it is only fair to forgive them for the packaging.

Colour Range

They have a wide range of colour selection. Nudes, Pinks, Browns, Berries, Reds, Vampy shades, you name it, they have it. So if you want to try a particular daring colour, look no further.

Overall Pros and cons
