This is going to be the first picture tutorial for you guys. So I wanted to show you guys how to do this simple makeup look using affordable makeup products. Let’s get started!
Prep your skin.
Wash your face with a cleanser and make sure your face is clean. Tone your face and apply a moisturizer of your choice. Apply a Primer to make your makeup last and to ensure that the base is smooth.
2. Foundation/ BB cream
Apply foundation to even out your complexion. If you don’t want to apply a foundation, use a BB cream or a tinted moisturizer. Choose a foundation that suits your skin type and skin color. I like to use a stippling brush for a nice sheer finish, Or you could just apply it evenly with your fingers.
If you have dark circles or any other problem areas , use a concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin tone to hide the imperfections. Apply the concealer in an inverted triangle under the eyes to conceal and brighten the area. Blend and dab using your fingers or a makeup sponge, Make sure you don’t drag and move the product.
4. Set your concealer
Always set your concealer with a translucent powder to avoid creasing.
For a simple look, I like to use a neutral color over the lids for a little extra sheen. Nothing complicated, just a nice a wash of color.
6. Eyeliner and Kohl
For eyeliner, Add a thin line to your upper lashline, but you can totally skip this part if you are not an eyeliner person after all this is a simple makeup .
Use a brown Kohl pencil on the water line for a soft look. I like to use a little under the lower lash line as well for a more defined look.
Apply mascara on your upper and lower eyelashes. This opens up your eyes and completes the eye look. Use an eyelash curler for extra curled lashes.
Apply a wash of blush on the apples of your cheeks for a nice flushed look. Choose a color that suits your skin tone.
Fill in the sparse areas of your brows with an eyebrow pencil.
Finally! I added a nice Mauvy pink matte lipstick and that completes the look.
11. Set your makeup
Use a translucent mattifying powder to set your makeup if you tend to get oily through the day. And if you want to make your makeup last extra long go for a setting spray.
